Atomic Rex: Monster Chronicles is the kaiju fanfiction series based on the novel of the same name by Matt Dennion. The series tells the story of Atomic Rex, a mutated Tyrannosaurus, who emerges from the sea to fight monsters which threaten the survival of humanity.
Plot[]
In the Mesozoic era, a Tyrannosaurus nest is exposed to the radiation of a meteorite that was crashed into the Earth. In 1946, an American nuclear submarine is suddenly attacked by the colossal sea monster in the Pacific Ocean. Over the next several years, there are sightings of a giant mutated dinosaur in the ocean.
