History[]
#JusticeForLove: End of the World[]
Obsessed in seeking revenge on his sister Alicia, believing Alicia abandoned him intentionally 23 years ago, Ethan's attempts to kill Alicia always end up in failure. As a result, Ethan decides to intentionally ruin Alicia's life instead, by murdering his own father and frame Alicia, which resulted in Alicia escaping the Philippines and to seek a new life somewhere else[note 1].
However, Ethan still wants to see his sibling suffering a miserable life, and follows her to San Francisco, unaware that Alicia already lost her husband and newborn baby in a streetcar accident. When he discovers that Mylene is attempting to help Alicia recover from her depression, Ethan finally kidnaps Alicia and plans to kill her afterward.
Lori successfully locates Ethan's hideout and immediately organizes a rescue operation in cooperation with local authorities, forcing Ethan to escape with Alicia, turning the operation into a car chase around San Francisco, ending at the Embarcadero. Ethan then takes Alicia hostage while attempting to reach the Ferry Building, planning to escape by boat. Lori attempts to disarm Ethan, resulting in Alicia accidentally getting shot.
Following the incident, he is arrested for kidnapping Alicia and murdering his own father. Ethan is sentenced for life in a psychiatric hospital, unaware that the world is about to end in three months. A few days later, Alicia visits Ethan and blames him for permanently ruining her life after Alicia was diagnosed with internal bleeding in her brain, and decides to forget him as her sibling.
Although not shown, Ethan is implied to be killed by the global firestorm along with the rest of mankind, as the entire surface of the Earth has been rendered uninhabitable.

Fifteen years later, Ethan is revealed to be alive, and begins his plan to seek revenge on Alicia, starting with intentionally reuniting with the Salvacion family, and later by intentionally sabotaging Alicia's life. By December 2016, Alicia escapes from prison and boards a ferry bound for Cebu City, which was caught in the middle of Typhoon Nock-ten, sinking the ferry and leaving only a few survivors. Due to the incident, Alicia is presumed dead in the Philippines, resulting in Ethan believing his revenge plan is successful as Alicia is now gone.

Several years later, while in vacation in Honolulu, Ethan sees Alicia alive and well, working as a receptionist of Aloha Hotel. He begins to realize that Alicia survived the ferry sinking and never actually died. After finding out that Alicia already left Hawaii, Ethan confronts Catherine and begins threatening her.
