Frozen blood is the first episode from the fan writing series, Godzilla: chronicles of ice and fire, its the first episode of the act one.
plot[]
Mark Russel only see doom, inside and outised him body, San Francisco is completely destroyed, a thick fog circulates around the destroyed buildings, mark doesn't know if the fog is caused by the bombs, by the monsters, the fire, or all of then, but the worst thing about everything is the pain.
Various cuts in him body and face making blood spurts everywhere, he arm is broken, and Mark is pretty sure the bone is completely destroyed,caused by a big part of him house who fell on he, but the most unbearable pain, isn't are the pain in him skin, or the broken arm, no, the most unbearable pain, is him beloved son, Andrew, Mark doesn't find him, The only thing he can do is scream, scream from him Name
- Andrew, Andrew! - Mark scream with a agonizing voice, with all the air in he lungs... 10 seconds passed and no reply, - Andrew, Andrew - he screans again, lougher then before, the anshwer are the same, he is about to scream again when suddenly he feels one hand in him shoulder:
-Mark... - a sad voice says, Mark turn around to see the bloody face off the person's: him wife.
A demoralized Emma look at him, with a crying child in her lap, Madison, they daughter, Mark finally see him daughter, after the giants monsters run over they house, curiously she was intact, without wounds, without bruises, without burns, without nothing, the same cannot be said from her mother.
Her clothes are all ripped apart with uncontable rips, every rip have a injury behind, since little bruises, until big and horribel injury cuts, one part behind her hear are in live meat and her face is bloody because of the injuries, she looks horrible, looking to that scene Mark can't stop thinking in the diference between him wife and him daughter, its looks like a demoniac corpse is holding an untouchable angel.
Mark looks at the sky, red, everything red, he can't see the stars,the mon, nothing, only a ugly red sky.
He takes a step forward, for him daughter, and kneels to talk with her:
- hey little girl,- he said with a calm voice, although he is not calm ate that moment - whats happen? Why are you criyng?-
Madison, with tearful eyes, talks with a weak voice and wrong grammar - wheer is Andew - , Mark can only look at her,by five long seconds, and finally anshwer - he is fine, he s probally playing hide and seek with us - sometimes, peoples need to lie, and Mark know he need to lie now.
Mark remains on him kneesm lost in the speak of him daughter, and principally, in him mind, -what was that, what were those things- Mark have the image, the giant mosquito, and the glowing lizard, and the lizard falling, on they house, making many rubbles falling in all of then. When suddenly, something bring he back to the reality:
- Mark, Mark - Mark imediatally get up, to look to Emma, - i think we are not alone - , she said while looking trough the red fog
Mark looks too, at first he doesn't see anything, only the fire, the fog and the rumblees, but after a while, he can see something appearing slowly through the red fog: two shining lights, that shows slowly, starting as a littles and weaks, dim color light, but soon, the lights turnes into a strong and shining yellow.
suddenly, the lights is turned into a military truck, whith 7 soldiers inside, then one of them screams"Hey, you there" he says "get in there" , Emma starts to walk to the truck, but a scream could be hear "no" Marks Screams, "i won't go away, not without Andrew" ''Mark'' emma says "we don't have time from this, come on, let's get out of here", "NO" Mark screans again "you could leave, i will Search for my son", "come on, sir" the soldier says,"we need to leave this place before the monsters return", "NO" MArks say again, "mark" Emma get closer to him and moving her lips leisurely and slowly, and says "he's gone"after with a calm voice she say "Madison is scared, she need you" and she make a signal with she head.
Mark was about to retort, when suddenly a scary and laugh sound cut the tense and quietily air:
SKREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNKKKK! Rooooooorrrr!
Marks turns around calmly and say "ok i go" "come" Emmas says
