Plot[]
Legend has it, in the apocalyptic land of Crestwood...there was once a monster so violent in his evil, even the gods feared him......Since no weapon could kill him, he was thrown alive into a world of devastation......Long ago, his demonic spirit was manifested into a more terrifying force: GOJIRA, a giant monster of extradimensional origins that laid hidden, waiting! The monster's name is derived from Celtic Mythology during the middle ages, known by the people there as "Gojira" meaning "God Incarnate”. A long time ago, artwork depicts this monster menacing Welling during the Edo period......While the Military searched for it...knowing when a very Dark and Stormy night hits, the beast will rise to bring forth the apocalypse......and will then......bring the world to an end!
It was a dark and stormy night. Captain Thomas and his crew, Joey Pantucci, and Leila are hired by mercenaries Hanover, Mulligan, Mason, Billy, T-Ray, Mamooli, and Vivo to pilot their boat across the South China Sea to an undisclosed rendezvous point. Meanwhile, the Argonautica, a luxury cruise ship built and owned by Simon Canton, is undertaking its maiden voyage when a saboteur disables the ship's navigation and communication systems entirely. A large beast rises from beneath and rams the vessel, leaving it dead in the water, and the panicking passengers are attacked and slaughtered by an unseen creature.
In 1994, Jake and his father John return from shopping and drive away in John’s Lincoln Continental Mark III, then move into their new house in Crestwood after John’s wife Grace divorced after Grace was nothing but an abusive mother. Jake and John meet Jake’s somewhat arrogant-smoking doctor, Professor Ratigan, who gives them a tour of Jake's new laboratory. Jake was known by Ratigan as Isolated and Autistic, who’s life was hazardous. That all changed when he met shy-loving Anna next door, the love he has ever dreamed of. Jake notices some injuries on her arm but Anna tries to hide them. That night, Anna visits jake’s home and was introduced to John.
6 weeks later, the Argonautica was found badly damaged from that night with it’s crew and passengers brutally murdered. A detective named Dr. Shiragami and his teenage daughter, Mia, who was known to experience strange visions and bizarre hallucinations, investigate the ship and find dozens of bodies and severed heads in the bilge. That night an air-raid siren sounds, heralding the arrival of an unseen monster during a typhoon and causes severe property damage. Residents are shocked to see that it is no ordinary storm when an unseen monster appears from the raging sea and comes ashore The military is alerted to the incident, and immediately begins searching the waters around Japan for the monster, but could find no trace of it. Several of the soldiers began assuming monsters never really did exist, and search operations were called off, little did they know security guard Frederick Ford gets murdered like the ship's crew and passengers.
Over time, Jake and Anna develop a closer friendship, though she did come over with a brutal nosebleed and asked for ice. One time while Jake and John were having a walk from the store, they encounter a hacker gang lead by Leo. When Leo injures Jake by pushing him into a pond and threatened to drown him, Anna assaults Leo while the rest of the gang chase down their former member, Max. John saves Max and threatens to call the cops immediately, prompting the gang to leave, with Leo vowing revenge. After that, Anna vowed to stay with Jake and John in order to protect Jake. They had a picnic in Jake’s yard, and sit on a bench while Anna holds a toy animal that was a gift from Jake. On Jake’s birthday, John asked Jake if he ever had a kiss from a girl before. Hearing this, Jake and Anna share their first kiss before sharing a dance, while John decides to dim the lights and give them time together alone.
In the heart of a small coastal town, hidden beneath a thick veil of mist, a forgotten horror stirred. The townsfolk whispered of an ancient entity, an enormous Lizard-Like Beast that had slumbered beneath the depths of the sea for centuries. It was said to be a relic of a forgotten era, a monster of colossal proportions that had once terrorized the land. One moonlit night, as the clock struck midnight, the earth trembled and the sea roared. From the depths emerged a monster, a massive beast with eyes that burned with an otherworldly glow. Violent storms began to rage across the entire planet, shaking the very foundations of civilization. Earthquakes erupted in places where they never had been before. Panic gripped the hearts of man as they realized something so Cruel and so Evil was about to be out upon the world.
The heaviest mist in the history of the city settled over the town at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon. All traffic has stopped and the mist hangs like a pall over everything. Lights of ordinary intensity fail to pierce the fog, which is constantly growing heavier. Scientists here are unable to agree as to the cause, and the local weather bureau states that the like has never occurred before in the history of the city and, as a result, the populace begin suffering from the mysterious illness with flu-like symptoms. With the mist rapidly thickening even more, one of the military doctors decide to investigate what caused it. As he entered the msit alone, he was attacked and killed by the beast.
When Jake asks Anna’s friend Emily to give an invitation to Anna, Emily says she’s not here anymore, which means she’s a senior. Horrified, he leaves the building and tried everything he can to call for her, but to no avail. A traumatized Jake stayed in his room for a month, and was desperate to find a way to keep her, despite several failed attempts at school. While he was at the store with John, they encounter one of the woman from the school, and says they’re not allowed to give Anna’s address to anyone and tells Jake he’ll have to find her on his own, prompting Jake to assault the woman until John takes him home and scolds him. That night, Anna prepared herself to embark on the journey of driver's education. However, her fragile peace was shattered once again when news of a 4th monster attack reached their shores. The driver's education program was immediately postponed. Anna’s disappointment turned into concern when news of a 5th monster attack reached her. This is when the 5th monster attack was far worse than before.
Before Anna settled into her new life and before she finally entered collage, a devastating hurricane struck the area, leaving destruction and chaos in its wake. Unbeknownst to Jake, who was on a search for her on his own, Anna ventured into the forest alone, her heart heavy with worry. These forests were not a haven, but a realm of horror and evil, as Anna was caught in the illness herself. As a result, as Anna releases her final scream, an unseen monster violently attacked and killed her before walking back to the sea.
At the hospital, Jake, along with John after John apologized, learns that Anna is murdered and will be on life support for 24 hours before the plug is pulled, told by Ratigan, who gets into a short fistfight with him and wins. While John was having a chat with Ratigan after finding out that Anna is going to be unplugged from life support, Jake kneels and cries horribly soon after she gets unplugged from life support when an African-American nurse shows up and forces him that he needs to go. In response, Jake attacks the nurse but Mia stops him, trying to comfort him and much to John and Ratigan’s shock.
After the funeral that night, Jake leaves the house while an unexpecting John was sleeping. Jake was then caught off-guard by Mia and her friend, Zoe, who’s parents are killed by an unseen creature. Jake was taken to Mia’s home, where Shiragami tried to comfort him after Anna’s death, which was heard on TV, as well as the recent brutal and graphic killings, perpetrating an unidentified serial killer which was false. The news also claim that jake was responsible for Anna’s death, despite the fact that a monster was responsible. That night, Jake has a nightmare about Anna’s death and that the world betrays him and sentences him to die in the gallows. Wracked with guilt, he again wonders if he died in the gallows and dreamed everything since in his and Anna’s final moments. Mia and Zoe hold and comfort him a repeat that he’s still alive.
During the night, a teenage woman and her boyfriend sneak into a closed down Army test site, and discover a pool. They go swimming, but are liquefied and killed by a chemical reaction, which was from an unseen creature. As a helicopter passes overhead in the swamp in search of the monster, the soldiers frantically try to signal it. Rushing headlong into the swamp after the chopper as it moves onward, one of them sinks to his death in quicksand. The two factions of the former Bravo Team split up to search for their friend, but he was nowhere to be found, believing their friend was killed by the beast.
The waters have been contaminated by the mist, preventing anyone from going in the water, though some do not listen. The monster begins to liquefy innocent children and sea creatures, prompting the lifeguard to close the beach, but some residents are pulled under the sand to be eaten alive by an unseen creature. Top governmental officials, in a secure underground bunker, also begin plotting the repopulation of the human race in response to the virus; they envision a new social order propagated by strict fertilization policies and artificial wombs, leaving mankind on the verge of extinction. During a thunderstorm at daytime, John was terrified and desperate to find Jake on the streets, only to watch in horror and get brutally murdered by the still-unseen monster.
John’s body was found by Ratigan, who immediately got the hospital after seeing huge footprints on the ground beside the rood. After finishing the call, Ratigan almost lost his footing after hearing a loud-threatening sound. The next day, Mia visits Jake’s home and they enter Jake’s attic, which was his personal craft room. Mia asked him about Anna, who was killed by the creature. Jake said he didn’t have a girlfriend at all, but had Anna for a short period of Time. When Mia tells Jake “You’re so cute!” while laughing.
Suddenly, the earth began to tremble as the ground shook violently. A glass-shattering roar echoed through the streets of Crestwood entirely. In a surreal and catastrophic turn of events, Godzilla, an Extradimensional Lizard-Like Monster, made landfall in Crestwood Bay, casting long shadow across the ruins. Its massive footsteps shook the ground, echoing through the air like thunderclaps. Fear gripped the hearts of the townsfolk as they watched their world crumble before their eyes. Buildings collapsed like sandcastles, reduced to dust and debris. The streets were swallowed by cracks, swallowing cars and people alike. Panic filled the air, mingling with the acrid scent of smoke and the sound of desperate cries. The ground trembles beneath his massive size, and his powerful roar shatters the windows, piercing the night. The humans spoke of the monster so immense , so scary, that his Violence and Evil sent shivers down their spines. They hid in the shelters, and the basements, and the sewers. They prayed to their gods, their ancestors, and their heroes. They cried for their families, and their friends, and their lovers. They waited for their death, and their salvation, and their miracle. They hoped he would leave......but he didn't.
He found them. He sniffed them out, and dug them up. He tore them apart, and ate them up. He stomped them down. In the midst of the chaos, a brave few took up arms against the incomprehensible terror. Soldiers armed with nothing but their determination and the hope of survival fought valiantly, trying to divert the monster's attention. They fought back, with their guns, and their swords, and their knives. They fought with their courage, and their anger, and their pride. They fought with their will, and their spirit, and their hope. They fought for their survival. He laughed at them. He swatted them away, and shot them down, and blew them up. He mocked their efforts, and their resistance, and their defiance. He showed them no respect and remorse. He showed them no pity as Godzilla unleashed its wrath upon them, a force beyond mortal comprehension. Through the darkness, the silhouette of Godzilla moved with an eerie grace, its massive form casting long, distorted shadows against the crumbling buildings. The moon's white light bathed the scene in an ethereal glow, heightening the sense of dread and the unknown. Godzilla's reign of destruction seems unstoppable, leaving a disturbing trail of mutilated corpses behind as Godzilla set large areas of the city on fire with his fire attacks.
But there was a deeper horror at play in Crestwood, one that lay beyond the colossal figure of Godzilla. The city was riddled with supernatural terrors that fed on the darkness and despair that permeated its streets. Haunting specters lurked in the shadows, their tormented souls forever trapped in a realm between life and death. News of the awakening spread like wildfire, igniting panic amongst the city's residents. Streets once filled with bustling life became deserted wastelands of abandoned cars and shattered glass. Fear gripped the hearts of people, their imaginations running wild with tales of the monster that towered above them. General Stone, the leader of the military, discovers that Godzilla was responsible for the virus within the mist himself, and that Godzilla was impossible to stop. In a moment of sheer desperation, the soldiers, armed with their futile weapons, fight valiantly. Tanks fire incessantly, Helicopters launched missiles, but are merely ants in the presence of this beast, as he is 60 meters tall.
When Ratigan thinks that Jake was responsible for Godzilla’ arrival, he overpowers Jake and threatens to drown him. Mia and Zoe lunge at Ratigan, allowing Jake to escape into the swamp. He was found by the bullies, along with Max, who joins Jake in a battle. Leo was left behind by his gang members, while Jake and Max escape during a storm. During the chase, Leo began to slow down before stumbling into quicksand and sink to his death. Ratigan overpowers Mia and Zoe, and chases after Jake into the Empire State Building.
Ratigan decided to continue his chase for Jake by hopping into a train after throwing out the train driver, and Ratigan catches Jake before Mia saves him, while Zoe shot Ratigan who was still inside. It is then that Ratigan (out of sheer bad temper) finally goes over the speed limit, tearing his clothes (including his gloves and shoes) in the process, showing his mental breakdown as he loses the last of his mind and sanity. He pursues Jake and Mia with great speed. Before he can reach them, Ratigan screams in horror as Godzilla throws a train car in the way of Ratigan, who was unable to stop and crashed right into it, killing him.
During his rampage, Godzilla sees the military approaching, which are obliterated by Godzilla’s tail. No corner of the earth was safe from his wrath. Entire armies fell before him, their weapons useless against his impenetrable hide. The screams of the dying echoed across the landscape, a haunting chorus of despair that served as a grim reminder of humanity's hubris. He was cut off guard by missiles and laser, but Godzilla turns to see a Huge, Operational Tank coming. It immediately opened fire on Godzilla himself, prompting Godzilla to charge forth and begin to assault it, tearing the tank apart viciously with his claws, punches, and bite. The tank opened fire, but Godzilla refuses to let go. Godzilla's eyes glowed with a malevolent light, a fiery gaze that spoke of ancient fury and untold suffering. His scales were black as night, glistening with a sickly sheen that hinted at the toxic origins of his terrible power. With each swipe of his massive claws, buildings crumbled like sandcastles, and the ground itself trembled in terror. The tank fires several penetrators at Godzilla’s which did damage him and gave the tank enough time to fire its Triple Maser Cannon at Godzilla, causing an explosion upon impact.
Some of the deflected shells collapsed surrounding buildings, and the area was obscured by smoke and dust from falling debris. People expected Godzilla to die as he became motionless. Eventually, the smoke was blown away by the wind, and Godzilla slowly appeared. Looking at his angry eyes, he realized that the people’s wishes had vanished in vain. The people felt an instinctive awe and fear at the sight, and stood still in front of the situation, as if they were seeing a raging god. They can only brace themselves as 10 gigantic silver rings materialize in front of his mouth, all aligning in a row. The mouth begins to glow, slowly beginning to build up with this blue vapor-like substance and then the vapor as well as silver particles soon get sucked inside of Godzilla's mouth.
In a split second, a silver fiery beam of energy go through the rings, which expand in size when the blast goes through them. All sound disappeared for a moment. The extremely high temperature of Godzilla’s heat ray instantly vaporized all objects around the tank, bypassing the liquid process and turning them into gas as Godzilla snears the ray with it, causing huge explosions that destroys the tank. The explosions then transform into a fire wall. The damaged tank made one last attempt to go forth at Godzilla, but goes over the fire wall and a quick burst of energy came out of the fire wall, destroying the tank and killing everyone inside. The former solid material expanded to an enormous volume and caused an explosion that could be called a “steam explosion of matter” beyond human comprehension, turning into a gigantic explosion that expanded with tremendous force while mercilessly engulfing everything around it. The blast wave created by the explosion process destroyed surrounding buildings like paperwork, but also pulverized the entire area within a six kilometer radius. The shock wave and smoke quickly approached the Hattori Clock Store where Jake and his friends were standing. Mia pushed Jake into a gap between buildings. It was almost an instinctive action. Leaving Jake collapsed in the gap between buildings, Mia was blown away along with the smoke from the shock wave and the large amount of debris it engulfed.
Eventually, as the epicenter became vacuumed, the implosion phenomenon began rapidly. The destroyed pieces, along with the violent wind, are now gathering towards the epicenter, and the world became calm and silent. The landscape had completely changed its appearance. There didn’t seem to be anyone alive around. Jake looked towards the Bridge, looking for Mia who had been taken away by the blast. When Shikishima turned around, he saw the back of Godzilla standing there. Ahead, huge clouds was rising from the place where the giant tank once stood. After destroying the city and as a black rain began to fall heavily, Godzilla lets out a victorious roar as Jake screams in horror over Mia’s apparent demise, signaling the entire world that the Holocaust has begun.
When Zoe attempts to rescue Jake, he scolds her for Mia and John’s deaths. When Jake refuses multiple orders from Zoe to embrace with her, it results in a physical struggle in which Jake overpowered her until Shiragami stopped him. Realizing Shiragami was on top of him, Jake kicked Shiragami in the face so hard it sends Shiragami off the railing, to his death in the water below. Terrified on what he just did, Jake betrays Zoe and runs away, leaving a traumatized Zoe behind in tears.
The virus Godzilla emitted became widespread in the modern day with the onset of the monster incursion. It was discovered that Godzilla manifesting into the human world had the virus incorporated into their very biology, and that this virus was really lethal. The sheer amount of the white fog Godzilla exuded began to draw in and give rise to new plant and animal life, as well as terraforming the landscape around it and bending space and time. As the human immune system has no basis to defend against it, anyone exposed to it immediately died, including some soldiers who followed the trail of blood left by the creature, prompting Stone to call this mist, G-Virus. Consequently, the military was forced to rule out heavy ordinance in their campaign against it and put Crestwood under quarantine.
The molecular lasers emitted from Godzilla's mouth are amplified in time, and the phases of the material are aligned to form an intense light that cuts through the space. The space-time ruptured as it could no longer withstand the intensity of the laser, and anyone could see the ruptures boiling with tiny bubbles. Each one was supposed to be the source of the universe with its own possibilities. There was no matter, space-time, or causality in the universe that could not be torn apart by Godzilla’s molecular lasers. Godzilla rewrote its surroundings, harnessed the knowledge of existing metabolic systems, rewrote them to be more efficient, and knitted together a sequence of molecules never before imagined by anything in the universe. Weaving together a sequence of molecules never before imagined by anything in the universe. It has changed one form after another, determined the future to which it is headed, and has moved majestically forward in the middle of that determined future.
As night fell, Jake was seeking solace in his trembling embrace. He knew that everyone’s time was running out, that the shadow of Godzilla would soon claim them all. But within their despair, a spark of defiance ignited. In the darkness, Jake delved deep into ancient texts and relics, as when Godzilla will soon reach 118.5 meters tall. Jake plans to use Liquid Nitrogen against the beast, as it is a reptilian creature and cold-blooded. A plan was hatched, a desperate final stand against the threat that defied reason. He armed himself with whatever he could find, bracing himself for the inevitable clash, as he created a Dimension Tide, a weapon capable of sending anyone into oblivion.
Crestwood was terraformed to Godzilla’s liking and caught an ice storm. It’ll take about 2 years to let sunlight in. Jake wears a face shield mask, though it did cause some problems. He flies a helicopter to find the suspect, only to find the military in combat with the creature. Godzilla, now 118.5 meters tall, obliterates the military with his Fire Breath. He sees Jake and starting chasing him down the streets. Eventually, Godzilla, along with a submarine destroyer, trampled the burning port office building and continued chasing him. Then he started walking inland, seemingly not caring about the people fleeing. By the time the shockwave reached the sky above the farms, Godzilla had already setted houses on fire in the area.
Godzilla unleashed a water geyser from below, which worked into Jake losing control of the helicopter and it exploded. jake flees in terror while Godzilla still chased him down. Before Godzilla can finally reach Jake, Zoe and Mia, who actually survived, open fire onto Godzilla and release the Liquid Nitrogen bombs from the air, which Godzilla swallowed. This was a huge mistake for him, as Godzilla’s inside of his body began to melt and smoke began to come out of his outer body, while Mia and Zoe rescue Jake and flee.
It is then that Godzilla (out of sheer bad temper) finally lost it completely, releasing an Electromagnetic Pulse and causing a Thunderstorm in the process, showing his mental breakdown as he loses the last of his mind and sanity. He pursues Jake, Zoe, and Mia with great speed, only for Zoe to sacrifice herself by falling into the dimension tide despite Jake and Mia’s attempts to stop her, though it did make the Dimension Tide go out of control, consuming anything within its vicinity.
The liquid nitrogen in his body made Godzilla even madder as he discovers Jake being responsible for the nitrogen, which made it difficult for Godzilla to regenerate. He extends his claws, traps Jake, and knocks him unconscious, only for Mia to fire a bazooka which made him or angry, but this causes Godzilla to be caught into the pull of the Dimension Tide as the nitrogen inside him gets worse. Godzilla tries to throw her off the cliff and attempted to sacrifice her to the Dimension Tide. Failing to escape, Godzilla was dragged in and, in a blinding flash of light, was violently ripped apart to a skeleton while being devoured in a tunnel of dimensional energy, killing him as he screams in horror.
After Godzilla’s skeleton banished from this dimension in a flash of explosive light, it produces an explosion that flattened all of Crestwood while the skies returned normal but cloudy. Jake and Mia stood in awe, their bodies trembling with a mix of relief and disbelief. The nightmare had come to an end, but the scars would forever remain. Mia and Jake share a kiss after Mia finds Jake. Mia wraps her arm around Jake’s back, and the 2 began walking back to the town. When Jake loses consciousness in an old shed, a terrified Mia tries everything she can to help him stay alive as she holds onto his body.
Days passed, and the town slowly rebuilt itself from the ashes. The memory of Godzilla lingered like a shadow, a constant reminder of the fragility of life. The survivors carried the weight of that fateful night, their hearts forever scarred by the horrors they had witnessed. The tale of Godzilla became a legend, whispered around campfires and passed down through generations. It served as a grim reminder of the unknown terrors that lurk in the darkest corners of the world. And as the sun set, casting long shadows across the town, the memory of that monster would haunt their dreams forever. It was a reminder that nothing is ever safe from the monster’s evil.

Production[]
After the first 2 fan-made Godzilla films, Tremolandi decided it's time to do a new story, this time taking place in the apocalyptic land of Crestwood. Since the idea was a Singular Point Horror film, he removed Godzilla's evolutionary rate and made Godzilla look fearsome.
Story[]
It only took about a few days to complete it. He was inspired by hsi several dreams, imaginations, and nightmares to help him come up with a strong story for a Godzilla horror film. He avoided real countries and had it take place in a fictional country called Crestwood.
Design[]
For Godzilla, he wanted him to look ferocious and murderous, as if he became a serial killer like Thrax and Samantha Pringle. He gave him a slender, muscular body like the Heisei Godzilla, but resculpting was necessary to show his sheer power and evil. In addition to a few upgrades, there a new things to this creature to make him murderous, not just an extradimensional creature. He redid his face to express it was inspired by Godzilla Ultima.
He also able to increase the resolution of the scales, for example, and make them feel really, really sharp and give it this aggressive texture. And in terms of the bottom half of Godzilla, he made it feel very heavy and dense in a way that made the viewer feel like this mountain and triangular silhouette was walking and moving through a space, though this Godzilla is still slender.
This is the 1st incarnation of Godzilla to have a completely silver atomic breath, as he remembers his father making him one with hot glue sticks and a hot glue gun, ultimately painting it silver. He was also inspired by Godzilla Ultima's atomic breath, and originally gave him 7 rings of energy, but his dad told him to give Godzilla 10 atomic rings. While charging his beam, silver lights will show up on his chest and neck, as well as lightning coming out of the tips of his spines.
Tremolandi wanted this new Godzilla to be the most merciless and ruthless version yet, similar to Disney's version of the Horned King. He designed this Godzilla to be strong, brutal, and extremely dangerous. Its dorsal fins were made more spiky, rough, jagged, and ferocious, resembling needles, as if its regenerative energy had become disorderly. For Godzilla's death, Tremolandi was inspired by the Horned KIng's death found in The Black Cauldron.
Music[]
Tremolandi's all-time favorite composer, John Debney, composed the film, as Tremolandi felt this film must have a great and talented composer. Debney used his music from The Relic.
Marketing[]
Tremolandi finished the poster a few days earlier, but did not post it until now. He began developing Godzilla, but his flash drive was driving him nuts, so he redid it. He wrote a profile for his Godzilla, wanting Godzilla to be from another dimension like Godzilla Ultima. he also gave him extradimensional powers, in order to make him really powerful.
Release[]
The film is released to theatres on November 3rd, 2024, to celebrate Godzilla's 71st birthday. It was very successful, though it's below Godzilla Minus One and Shin Godzilla.
Reception[]
GODZILLA: the Dark Relic, upon announcement, had positive reactions by fans. There was even controversy between Damien and the Godzilla Community, where Damien and Concorde received huge support and petitions for the film to get a sequel.
When it's released, it received positive reviews. On rotten tomatoes, it had an approval rating of 100%, with an average rating of 9.67/10. On metacritic, it has a score of 77%, based on 10 reviews, meaning "generally favorable" reviews.
Sequel[]
Following the film's success, Tremolandi claims he's working on a story for the sequel, titled "GODZILLA: the Dark Reliquary", with Bill Sykes, from Disney's Oliver and Company, set to appear as well. Tremolandi also has plans for a 3rd and final film of the trilogy, in which it'll star Frollo from The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
