Godzilla is the main anti-heroic protagonist of the film Godzilla: Reborn. This Godzilla is the original one that attack Japan in 1954 brought back to life by a nuclear explosion caused by a reactor leak in a power plant.
Appearance and Personality[]
The design of RebornGoji is cross between the designs of ShodaiGoji from the original film, the Heisei designs and ShinGoji from Shin Godzilla. While retaining the trademark black scales and bone white dorsal fins, it also has jagged teeth similar to ShinGoji and Orange-Red eyes similar to Burning Godzilla from Godzilla vs Destroyah. However during the beginning of the film, Godzilla's appearance greatly resemble that of a walking corpse covered in decaying flesh, exposed muscle and bones similar to a zombie before transforming into a form similar to his appearance in 2016'S Shin Godzilla and finally reaching to his trademark appearance by the end of the film. His personality is similar to his 1954 and Heisei counterparts as he holds an outright grudge against humanity while still maintain a tragic side to him as he still yearns for a reason to exist, despite being doomed to a life of pain, hatred and loneliness due to his mutation. He also posses an IQ rivaling that of a human being. Despite his god-like power and near immortality, Godzilla actually hates his condition as the amount nuclear energy in his body hurts him even though it also sustains him and keeps him alive at the same time.
