This is the version of Godzilla that appears in Teen Titans: Giant Wars.

Name[]

In the universe of the story, Godzilla's original name, "Gojira" is an Inuit word meaning "God King", but the Titans decide to call him "Godzilla" to save time.

Design[]

When he first makes his presence known, he resembles the Godzilla seen in the Marvel comics featuring him. After having a nuclear missile launched at him, his teeth become sharper and his spines become more jagged.

Personality[]

This Godzilla has an animal-like nature.

History[]

A helicopter crashes into an iceberg containing Godzilla, and from there, he wreaks havoc on the northwestern United States before having a nuclear missile launched at him by the United States government. Godzilla then proceeds to continue his reign of terror before facing the Teen Titans in Jump City. However, Frankenstein, who had befriended Raven of the Teen Titans, arrives in the city and battles the reptilian menace before performing a heroic sacrifice by throwing himself and Godzilla into a volcano. However, Godzilla survives.

Roars[]

This version of Godzilla has the roars of the 1954 Godzilla, the Showa Godzilla, the Heisei Godzilla roars from 1984 to 1991, the Heisei roars from 1992 to 1995, the Millenium Godzilla roars, and the roars of the 1998 Godzilla.

Abilities[]

  • Adaptation: Godzilla's cell structure is capable of adapting to any environment, no matter how dangerous or deadly.
  • Durability: Throughout the story, Godzilla is shown to be able to survive attacks that would kill a normal creature.
  • Burrowing: Godzilla is shown to be able to burrow underground.
  • Fire breath: When he first appears, he has standard fire breath. After being nuked, this ability is replaced with atomic breath.
  • Atomic breath: After Godzilla is nuked by the United States government, his fire breath is replaced with atomic breath, which is more powerful than his fire breath.
  • Regeneration: After tearing off Frankenstein's arm and eating it, Godzilla gains regenerative capabilities.

Trivia[]

  • This version of Godzilla is exactly 400 feet tall.
  • In a deleted scene, it was to be revealed that Godzilla had been frozen in the iceberg for millions of years.
