Gorosaurus (MLP)

Gorosaurus (ゴロザウルス, Gorozaurusu) is a giant theropod dinosaur kaiju who first appeared in the 1967 Showa film, King Kong Escapes and his first appearance alongside Godzilla is the 1968 Showa Godzilla film, Destroy All Monsters. He is a major protagonist in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: Godzilla and is a member of Godzilla's Earth Defender faction.

Monster Island's inhabitants were eventually transported to Monsterland on an island. In 1999, the sinister insect-like pony race known as the White Changelings took control of all the monsters, including Gorosaurus and sent them to attack Equestria's major cities. Gorosaurus was ordered to ruthlessly attack and destroy Appleloosa. Later, when the White Changelings lost control of the monsters, they sent King Ghidorah to defeat them. Gorosaurus bravely charged King Ghidorah, but the space dragon's gravity beams repelled him. As Anguirus and Godzilla assaulted King Ghidorah from the front, Gorosaurus was able to prepare an attack from behind. The determined dinosaur lashed out with his kangaroo kick. The powerful technique knocked the hateful hydra straight off his feet. Gorosaurus continued the onslaught by sinking his teeth into one of King Ghidorah's tails, while Godzilla, Anguirus, and Minilla finished off the terrible tyrant. The awful space monster, who had destroyed so many lives, had himself finally met his demise. King Ghidorah's reign of terror was finally over, forever. Gorosaurus was returned to Monsterland, where he continued to peacefully live out the rest of his life with his fellow monsters, Godzilla, Minilla, Anguirus, Mothra, Rodan, Kumonga, Manda, Baragon, and Varan.

Gorosaurus lived peacefully on Monster Island with Godzilla, Anguirus, Mothra, Minilla, Kumonga, Kamacuras, and Rodan for several years, until the island was destroyed in a nuclear testing.
