Zilla Fanon Wiki

In the 2020s and 2030s, Toho began to distribute their rights to other studios, after the success of Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures with the ongoing MonsterVerse. Instead of giving it all to Legendary and Warner Bros., Toho decided to distribute their rights to other rival studios. These studios include Universal Pictures, Columbia Pictures (under Sony Pictures Releasing), Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Paramount Pictures and 20th Century Studios (under The Walt Disney Company). In total, 13 films were made across these five companies. These films do not share continuity with each other, with the exception of Sony's Varan films. Paramount would later go onto co-produce the 2030 film, Top Gun: Godzilla S.O.S., with Toho.

The American adaptations of the Justice for Love duology are not covered in this article.
