Manda (MLP)

Manda (マンダ) is a giant sea dragon kaiju who first appeared in the 1963 film, Atragon and his first appearance alongside Godzilla is the 1968 Showa Godzilla film, Destroy All Monsters. He is one of the minor antagonists in My Little Pony: Equestria Kaiju.

Manda was dragged to Monsterland, where he proceeded to live the rest of his life in peace with Godzilla, Minilla, Anguirus, Mothra, Rodan, Kumonga, Gorosaurus, Baragon, and Varan, until the Island was controlled by the White Changelings near the dawn of the century. Manda was first sent to destroy Las Pegasus. Afterwards he proceeded to Canterlot, where he, along with Godzilla, Mothra, and Rodan, leveled the city. It was not long before the Mane Nine were able to overthrow the White Changelings' power over the monsters and after a climactic battle with the space dragon King Ghidorah Manda was returned back to Monsterland where the monster lives out on his rocky cliff side home.

Godzilla: Final Wars[]

Off the coast of Applewood, the serenity was completely shattered by the sudden appearance of a massive, malevolent sea serpent. Equestria dispatched the Mane Nine to search for this mysterious monster. The Mane Nine plunged deep into the Frozen North Sea and located the disturbance: Manda, but the squirming dragon wrapped around the Mane Nine and attempted to squeeze the life out of his enemies! The Mane Nine approached an underwater volcano and when they were close enough, they fired at the submerged mountain, creating an immense hole in the Earth's crust. Both Manda and his victims were in dire straits, but the insidious reptile relented to the unbearable conditions first. He lightened his grip and finally released the Mane Nine from his constricting muscles. Glowing brightly from his encounter with the volcano, Manda approached the submersible from behind as the Mane Nine searched for their cunning quarry. The Mane Nine spun to meet their opponent and fired their zero cannon directly into the immense dragon. The intense cold gripped Manda, leaving him vulnerable to attack. The Mane Nine ram through Manda and the cyclopean serpent was no more! Victorious, the Mane Nine began their journey back to Canterlot; however, they did not realize what terrors they would encounter upon their return.

My Little Pony: Equestria Kaiju[]

As two ponies are sailing the seas of Maretime Bay catching some fish, they stumble upon a sea serpent monster called Manda. It wrecks the ship with its elongated tail. One rises up on land and got bit by Godzilla. It rots and gets its insides eaten by multiple Kumonga. Another appears and fights Godzilla and bites him. Godzilla uses his atomic breath at the serpent, killing it.
