The Meganulon (メガヌロン, Meganuron), also known as Meganula (メガニューラ, Meganyūra), are giant Paleozoic dragonfly kaiju who first appeared in the 1956 Showa film, Rodan and their first appearance alongside Godzilla is in the 2000 Millennium Godzilla film, Godzilla vs. Megaguirus. They reappear as minor kaiju in the 2022 fan film My Little Pony: Equestria Kaiju.

Godzilla vs. Megaguirus[]
The Meganulon were prehistoric insects that were released into the modern world through a black hole experiment. A giant dragonfly flew through a black hole and laid an egg in the forest, which was discovered and taken home by Adam Williams. Adam dumped the egg into the sewers of Canterlot when it started to ooze. The egg hatched into several Meganulon, which escaped to Winsome Falls and attacked several citizens before molting into Meganula. The Meganula were the second form of the Meganulon. They attacked Godzilla to steal his energy for their queen. Godzilla managed to kill most of the Meganula, but some escaped with his energy. They flew to Winsome Falls and gave the energy to Megaguirus, dying in the process.
My Little Pony: Equestria Kaiju[]
As Sunny Starscout landed on Godzilla's back along with Jet Jaguar, they encounter giant parasite kaiju known as Meganulon. They were going to attack Sunny and Jet Jaguar, but they're victims jump off Godzilla's back.
