Zilla (ジラ Jira) is a giant mutant iguana kaiju created by Toho.
Name[]
Zilla's name comes from Godzilla's, with the "God" removed. According to Shogo Tomiyama, this name was chosen because the TriStar Godzilla "took the 'God' out of 'Godzilla.'" Per Toho's insistence, all future incarnations of TriStar's Godzilla will be under the name "Zilla."
Personality[]
Zilla is highly aggressive and extremely vicious. But like Godzilla, when he detects a real threat to the earth, he does not hesitate to fight without fear against that being that threatens his world.
Origins[]
Zilla, like Godzilla, is a member of an ancestral species that descended to modern iguanas. Unlike the Godzilla species, this is rather, as time advanced, the species disappeared. Zilla was one of the very few of his kind that could survive over time.

Jumping Abilities[]
Zilla is an extraordinary jumper, capable of pouncing large distances to attack his enemies with a High Jump Kick.
Agility[]
Zilla is incredibly fast and agile. Zilla tends to charge at his opponents, and is capable of quickly fleeing or evading enemies when he is overwhelmed. Possessing a land speed of 300 miles per hour.
Physical Attacks[]
Zilla mauls his enemies with his claws and teeth. Zilla also displayed the ability to use his scutes as a weapon. Zilla ran at a Trilopod and bent downward, causing his scutes to slice its neck.
Burrowing[]
Zilla possesses the ability to burrow through concrete and steel.
Asexual Reproduction[]
Zilla posee the ability to rapidly reproduce asexually. Very rarely do you use it.
